CEBU, Philippines- Suzuki-Zic-BMR riders reigned supreme after the team collected several honors in the Bohol leg of the 2014 Regional Underbone Grand Prix.
The Cebu-based racing squad claimed five championship trophies with several runner-up finishes even if there were only four riders in the team.
Neil Perino scored a triple victory through the novice 160, novice 130 underbone and the Suzuki Nex Cup. The Lapu-Lapu City native gained confidence with his and racing suit from Suzuki as well as helmet from Kyt that kept him protected through his quest for supremacy in the novice class.
Mario Borbon, for his part, dominated the expert open spiced up with a second place finish in the expert 130 underbone and third in the expert open automatic.
Patrick Orbe also made his presence felt after placing second in the novice 160 automatic and third in the intermediate 160 class, while 12-year-old Solon ruled the beginner’s underbone class with a runner-up throphy in the beginner’s automatic race. (FREEMAN)
