CEBU, Philippines - The Yaw-Yan ArDigma Summer Clinic formally comes to a close tonight highlighted by a culminating activity at the Yaw-Yan headquarters located at the 4th floor of Coast Pacific Downtown Center just across the UC-Main campus along Sanciangko Street, this city.
The two-month camp has attracted dozens of kids who were very eager to learn this authentic Filipino martial art.
Yaw-Yan Cebu ArDigma CEO and Founder Master Benigno "Ekin" R. Cañiga Jr. said the culminating activity will showcase all what the students learned during the course of the rigid but fun-filled training. These include MMA, Yaw-Yan ArDigma Combat, Yaw-Yan ArDigma System and other forms of martial arts such as boxing and arnis.
"The culminating activity will surely entertain the parents who enrolled their children in the summer camp," said Master Ekin.
Part of the must-see demonstration is the sparring session featuring selected students who stood out during the duration of the clinic.
This year's guest of honor and speaker will be Rey Gelon, a lawyer who is also a martial artist himself.
“Studying and practicing Yaw-Yan is a good way to spend the remaining days in summer especially to the young ones. Through it, they also developed discipline and boost their self confidence,†added Master Ekin.
