CEBU, Philippines - Mereeiz Ramirez and Kenyan Isaac Simat dominated their respective divisions during the Cebu Home and Builders’ Centre- Builder’s Run last Sunday starting and ending at the Parkmall Piazza.
Ramirez proved too much for her opponents as she clocked in 54 minutes and 54.35 seconds to clinch the women’s 12K title.
Mary Jane Beboso occupied the second spot in 59:02:31, while Leonora Martos came in third with the time of 1:00:32:84.
In the men’s division, Simat defeated his countrymen Douglas Mwiti for the title. Simat registered a time of 40:22:62, while the latter has 41:34:92 clocking. Arnel Florentino wound up third with 43:51:04.
In the 6K class, Cherry Andrin came out the fastest with the time of 25:16. Vlessica Jagna and Lynle Cardenas copped the next two spots with the time of 26:02 and 26:30, respectively.
The team of Iris Abellanosa, Marie Joy Ongcoy, Jennielyn Villalas and Beberly Galon won the 3K squad division, while Joland Olmilla lorded it over the 3K individual battle with a time of 10:35 as Michelle Beboso (13:21) won the distaff side.
