Cebuano medalist to conduct wrestling seminar

CEBU, Philippines - International wrestling medalist and former Philippine  Team coach Luis Ansag will conduct a wrestling seminar on April 1 and 2 at the Yaw-Yan Headquarters situated at the 4th floor of Coast Pacific Downtown Center just across the UC-Main campus along Sanciangko Street, this city.

Yaw-Yan ArDigma Cebu of  CEO/Founder and Vis-Min director Master Benigno "Ekin" R. Caniga, Jr. is facilitating the seminar for the benefit Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) enthusiasts.

“Everyone is invited for this seminar especially those Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters and enthusiasts who want to improve their ground games. Luis will teach basic and advance wrestling focusing on takedowns,” said Caniga.

Ansag, a Cebuano wrestling veteran, won the silver medal in the 4th Asian Zurkhaneh Sports Championship in Kathmandu Nepal last year where he competed against top wrestlers and grapplers all over Asia.

The two-day wrestling seminar will start at 7pm to 10pm.  Registration fee is pegged at P1,500 inclusive certificate after the seminar.
