CEBU, Philippines - The Dynamo FC blitzed its way to an 8-0 rout of Paref-Springdale for its second stright win in the under-13 division of the 16th Aboitiz Football Cup, which resumed after a long holiday break yesterday at the Aboitiz Sports Field in Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
Dynamo FC dictated the pace of the match right from the start, never allowing Springdale to convert even just a single goal.
In the same age-group, Suba-Basbas came up with a 9-0 demolition of the Centre for International Education, while Phoenix FC silenced Subangdaku, 3-0.
On the other hand, the Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) split their respective games, some of them against their sister teams.
In the boys 18-under, DBTC zapped FC TV, 4-0, while in the distaff side, St. Theresa's College trounced the Talisay Razkals, 5-0. The STC girls also hurdled their girls under-15 assginment against Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu via a 2-1 squeaker.
In the under-7, DBTC-B nailed back-to-back victories at the expense of Giuseppe, 2-1, and against DBTC-C, 6-2. DTBC-C managed to snatch a win, but against its team C, 2-0.
In the under-9 division, DBTC-B outlasted USC-BED, 2-0, DBTC-D smalled Giuseppe, 3-0, while DBTC Team 2 nipped BRIGHT Academy, 1-0.
DBTC-G won over its team I, but lost to its team A, 6-0. DBTC-E bowed to Lahug FC, 6-0, while DBTC-D won by default against Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu.
DBTC-I also got crushed by Paref-Springdale, 10-0, DBTC-C bowed to Springdale's team B, 3-0, while BMALV defeated DBTC-E, 1-0.
In the under-11, DBTC overpowered CPMS, 4-1. Its team 4 silenced MAD FC, 4-0, but its team 2 lost to Canduman, 0-5. In the other game, the Mactan Camellanz outsmarted St. Joseph School, 3-2. — (FREEMAN)
