Yaw-Yan fighters easily destroy American foes

CEBU, Philippines - Yaw-Yan ArDigma Cebu fighters proved that their martial art is a far more superior as they easily disposed American Muay Thai opponents in an international kickboxing tournament dubbed as ‘Knuckle Up’ the other day in Vallejo, California.

Yaw-Yan Fighting Challenge Championship (YFCC) junior lightweight champion Renan ‘Limbas’ Noblefranca and unbeaten Jordan ‘Labuyo’ Balcita leave a lot American fight fans in awe as they hurdled respective assignments via stoppage.

Noblefranca came out with guns blazing as he unleashes a barrage of punches and kicks to snuffed the air out of American Kenny Epstein.

Epstein tried to answer back with his own attacks but he was once again overwhelmed by Noblefranca.  After seeing that the American wasn’t responding to Noblefranca’s onslaught, the referee was forced to halt the carnage in the dying seconds of the second round.

Meanwhile, Balcita connected with a crushing straight back kick to the body of American Sergio Ramirez who was unable to get back to his feet in the one minute mark of the first round.

Ramirez was the more aggressive fighter from the start but his recklessness cost him as he absorbed a counter attack coming from the La Union-native Balcita.

“They were tough (Americans) but we already knew how to deal with them. I am just glad we showed them what Yaw-Yan fighters can do,” said Johnlery Caniga who serves as a coach for their two fighters.

“This is just the start. We are planning to participate in more kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts tournament here in the US next year.”

Aside from fighting, the Team Yaw-Yan ArDigma will also conduct a series of seminars and clinics in some part of California.  (FREEMAN)
