CEBU, Philippines - Glenn Aguilar showed why he is the country’s No.1 rider as he outmaneuvered multi-titled Jon-jon Adlawan to rule the international category of the 10th leg of Kopiko Astig 3-in-One supercross series the other day in Dumaguete City.
Aguilar snatched the title after edging out the Cebuano teen riding sensation Adlawan and veteran rider Rhowell Mangosong IV.
Danish Emil Jepsen had a fourth-place finish, while another Cebuano rider Jubenile Abellar occupied the fifth spot.
Aguilar grabbed his second trophy as he came out the fastest in the pro open category, followed by Mangosong in the second place, while Adlawan took the third spot.
Mangosong, on the other hand, topped the pro lite category after beating foreign rider Decazi Balazs, while Aguilar settled for only third place this time.
Jepsen bounce back lording the intermediate division, Jougeen Basco came out the fastest in the novice open production, Christopher Bandigan snared the beginners open crown, Jed Luna claimed the top spots in the local and open enduro, while Pia Gabriel took the top spot in the women’s class.
The rest of the winners were Keith Abrenica (peewee 50cc), BJ Pepito (peewee 65cc), Mclean Aguilar (mini), Felson Ray Baculpo (underbone), Tristan Galanto (veterans C), John Fernandez (veterans B) and Dexter Bacabac (veterans A). (FREEMAN)
