Feng shui of a nation depends on three factors:
A) Geographic location
B) Landscape and national symbols
C) Personal feng shui of national leaders – President and Vice President. Location defines national character of a people and its culture. Nations situated in northern hemispheres tend to be more disciplined and hardworking in order to produce more food and power or heat energy to combat the natural cold weather! Southern hemisphere nations tend to be aggressive and temperamental due to warm climatic conditions. While equatorial nations tend to be moderate and balanced in their pursuit of happiness!
Landscape and national symbols influence the feng shui inclinations of a nation. A desert landscape makes a country strive harder in allocating resources, luckily most have oil! Cold mountains often bring feast or famine situations.
National symbols like flags or monuments even city adornments can bring boom or bane to a nation. South Korea’s national flag is feng shui-inspired using the balance of yin and yang symbol with the trigram of the fewer cardinal compass directions, indicating balanced strength and prosperity!
Philippine national adornments while more fun, carry bad feng shui!
Two major symbolisms now beset our nation:
a) The carabao and tamaraw infront of Rizal’s monument at Luneta Park. They are located North and South representing Luzon and Mindanao. And both are male bulls! In feng shui, this means Luzon and Mindanao will always conflict like fighting bulls.
b) Rizal Park’s Philippine Map Relief now has criss crossing pedestrian tourist walkways dividing it. This in feng shui symbolizes the division of the nation politically! Ever wondered why Misuari and MNLF (Moro National Liberation Front) attached Zamboanga City recently after declaring independence?
Last but most important is the feng shui of the president and vice president of a nation! Interesting to note, President Noynoy Aquino is a rat sign while VP Jejomar Binay is a horse. In the coming year of the Wood Horse 2014, rat and horse persons will not fare well inasmuch as it opposes each other in feng shui! So there, Philippine nation outlook for 2014 will be truly a challenging year! Beware and indeed be wary to navigate your luck and fortunes hereon by rigth feng shui observances. So, fare well Philippines, our beloved Philippines! Hopefully bad feng shui symbols at Luneta and Rizal Park will be remedied.
