CEBU, Philippines - Close to P15,000 in cash prize is at stake for the top finishers of the "Run for Fun and Health" organized by the municipality of Alcoy south of Cebu on August 25.
The race will feature three categories, the 7K open, 5K for public and private employees, and 3K for elementary and high school students.
Aside from medals, the champion in both men and women's division of the 7K open will receive P2,000, while the second and third will pocket P1,000 and P700, respectively.
The top three in the 5K will get P1,000, P700 and P500, while the first three finishers in the 3K action will take home P700, P500 and P300.
The registration fee is pegged at P125 for both the 7K and 5K and P25 for the 3K category. Participants in the 7K and 5K will receive a souvenir shirt.
