Stream annihilates Executive Boutique in CSCC E-League

EBV - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - Defending champion Stream Ingenyouity frolicked all game long in its 114-38 massacre of the hapless Executive Boutique Lycans in what is by far the most lopsided match in their 9th CSCC E-League for Basketball last Sunday at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

So explosive Stream was that seven of its players hit double figures led by  Melvin Cyrus Polestico with 16 points and one-time MVP and 2011 Rookie of the Year Sylvester Millevo with 15 points on top of  five steals and three rebounds.

Angelo Galicia also had 15 points, five rebounds and two steals, while Roderick Mangubat chipped in 13 points, three rebounds and two steals for Stream, which battered Executive Boutique right after the opening buzzer to post an early 22-6 advantage.

After closing the first half with a commanding 56-14 lead,  Stream kept on pounding on the Lycans in the third, 34-17, then ended the one-sided match with a 24-7 spurt to wrap up the 76-point blowout.

Ivan Cres de la Torre and Keith Christian Cruz added 11 markers apiece, while Marvin Alquilos scored 10 and had three rebounds for Stream.

Andrew Thomas Hilvano was the lone double-digit scorer for Stream with a dozen markers.

In the other games, Christian Judilla sparkled with 25 points, four rebounds, three blocks and two steals as the Calltek Trojans spanked the ASI Hardbacks, 77-65, while Archi Brian Vincen Batua had 28 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks to power the Accenture Sharks to a 75-70 triumph over the SSI Warriors.

Judilla got huge support from Mark Louis Gellez with 15 points, two rebounds and two steals and Aerl Genebraldo with 13 points and six rebounds for Calltek, which rode on a blistering 24-12 start to pin down ASI formerly known as Xlibris.

Paul Romwell Amit topscored for ASI with 18 points, five rebounds and two steals followed by Sergs Al Go Bui with 12 points.

On the other hand, Ryan Edward Llanos banged in 13 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals for Accenture, which also drew 10 points, five steals, three assists and two rebounds from Julian Kyle Suerte.

Lawrence Daven Agas led SSI with 27 points, while Reymund Ardiente had 13 points and five rebounds in a losing cause. (FREEMAN)
