CEBU, Philippines - Magnanimous-hearted fitness buffs will have another chance to share their blessings to kids with cancer through the 'Angeles y Flores de Mayo Run' on May 26 starting and ending at Chong Hua Medical Arts grounds.
The upcoming event also serves as the fifth edition of what is previously known as the 'Run for BB'.
The race features the 200-meter dash as the shortest and the 25K run as the longest route. The 200m is for kids aged four years old and below and the 400m for seven-under entries. The rest of the runners can choose either the 15K or the 25K.
Foreign nationals are allowed to join in the race but only in the 25K category.
Registration fee is pegged at P200 for the 200m and 400m, P500 for the 15K and P700 for the 25K inclusive of a singlet, race bib, map and post-race refreshments.
Entry forms are available at the nursing service office, outpatient department (OPD) and cardio unit of Chong Hua Hospital and at Runnr in Ayala Center-Cebu.
Cash prizes, medals and certificates will be given to the top three winners in the 15K and 25K action.
Aside from that, the top performers in the open division (15K and 25K) will each receive a Timex watch, while the first 250 finishers in the 25K will receive medals. (FREEMAN)
