PhilHealth, Hyundai win in Corporate League
CEBU, Philippines - The Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) broke down Flying V Petroleum Oil & Gas, 129-61, while Hyundai Cebu, Inc. routed Blue Blade Technologies Services Corp., 84-70, in HoopStars 2013 Corporate League at J Centre Mall last Sunday.
Innodata Knowledge Services Inc. also overpowered AMA Computer College, 98-81, during their match in the tournament backed by Siknoy Noodle House and 89.9 Smooth FM.
Albert Anadon sparked the campaign and set the pace for PhilHealth, producing 33 points, pouring 16 in the first quarter and 17 in the third quarter.
Stephen Yap and Jun Ramas backed Anadon in the scoring binge for PhilHealth, contributing 22 and 17 points, negating any value of the 42 combined points of Lester Caparoso and Leo Ibao of Flying V.
Meanwhile, Adelfo Delgado and Junriel Magdadaro carried Hyundai Cars as they tallied for 15 and 14 points that spoiled the 22 points Felipe Sarmiento generated for the Blue Blade Eagles.
Hyundai exploded with scores in the second quarter and finished the first half with 49-34. Abundio Cuyos Jr. served 10 points more that negated the Eagles’ last quarter surge the saw Alexan Caminade scoring 12 and Wenceslao Cajes III adding 10. (FREEMAN)
