CEBU, Philippines - The Guardian Strikers and FRASEC FC topped their respective divisions in the O! YEEAA-Minglanilla Football Festival over the weekend.
O! YEEAA, which stands for Outstanding Youth in Education, Entrepreneurship and Arts Association, is a conglomeration of committed and service-oriented Minglanillahanons pioneering for leadership and personal development among the youth through education, entrepreneurship, culture, arts and sports.
The event sanctioned by the Cebu Football Association (CFA) featured the 12 and 14-under categories.
The Guiseppe FC of coach Oliver Colina, represented by Dodong Lascoño, fended off the DB Razkals, 1-0, to clinch the championship in the 12-under age-group, while the FRASEC FC of coach Seno Banzon outlasted the Guardian Strikers of coach Marlon Real, 2-0, to wrest the 14-under crown.
The winners of the tournament were awarded with specialized O! YEEAA medals.
