CEBU, Philippines - Close to 200 athletes from different schools and swimming clubs are expected to see action in the 3rd Ateneo Friendship Swim 2012 slated on November 17-18 at the 25-meter pool of Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu in Brgy. Canduman, Mandaue City.
Aside from the hosts, the other schools that have already sent feelers for the two-day tilt are the University of San Carlos, Maria Montessori International School, University of the Visayas, SHS-Hijas de Jesus, Paref Springdale and Southcrest, and Bright Academy.
A bunch of tankers from Talisay, Bohol and Surigao are also set for battle in this 18th invitational competition organized by the Visayas Integrated Schools Swimming Association Incorporated (VISSA).
The age-group categories under the individual contest are the 8-under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-above, while the relay event features 12-under and 13-above classes.
Registration fee is pegged at P300. The deadline for the submission of entries is on November 12.
