CEBU, Philippines — Cebuano youth vloggers and aspiring content creators have until December 5 5:30 P.M. to submit their entries for the first-ever “Sugvlog Challenge”.
Governor Gwendolyn Garcia made this announcement during a meeting held on November 20 with Cebuano vloggers and officials of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federations from Cebu Province's municipalities and component cities.
The meeting, conducted at the Social Hall of the Cebu Provincial Capitol, was spearheaded by the office of Board Member Loren Singco, who serves as the president of the SK Provincial Federation.
“We would like you to be part of this endeavor. This is the first-ever of its kind in the entire country. We hope that this time, the Sugboanong Kabataan will finally feel that they are part of this total endeavor,” Governor Garcia said in a post by the Capitol’s News arm Sugbo News.
Participants are required to upload their entries to the official SK Federation social media pages. Engagement metrics, including the number of followers, views, and reactions on the vlog posts, will factor into the final scoring.
During the meeting, the governor encouraged Cebuano vloggers to share their experiences and insights on vlogging, offering guidance to the participating SK Federations.
This initiative is aimed to inspire creative ideas for their entries in the Sugvlog Challenge, which seeks to promote youth engagement and highlight the talents of the province’s young leaders.
