CEBU, Philippines — A total of P30 million worth of infrastructure projects have been officially handed over to three barangays of Casili, Paknaan, and Looc in Mandaue City.
Mandaue City Lone District Representative Emmarie “Lolypop” Ouano-Dizon led the turnover ceremony for the three multipurpose buildings, which will serve as sports centers and house other facilities.
According to Ouano-Dizon, these multipurpose buildings can also complement the barangay’s facilities, serving as local community centers that provide space for temporary services and events.
The project in Casili cost P8 million and was completed in two phases: phase one costing P5 million and phase two, P3 million.
In Paknaan, a similar multipurpose building near Paknaan National High School was constructed in two phases, totaling P9 million.
The Comprehensive National High School in Barangay Looc received a multipurpose building worth P13 million, also completed in two phases, with phase one costing P8 million and phase two, P5 million. — (FREEMAN)
