3 bodies dumped in Daanbantayan
CEBU, Philippines — Three people were found dead in Sitio Mohon, Barangay Pajo, Daanbantayan, Cebu Monday morning, September 30, 2024.
Police identified the victims as Baricro Magiyahay, a resident of Barangay Poblacion; Leo Andrino Rodrigo, of Purok Mangga 2; and Randolf Rosell, of Barangay Lanao, all of Daanbantayan.
Police Lieutenant Carl Bryan Lozarita, deputy police chief of Daanbantayan Police Station, said they are looking into the victims’ possible involvement in illegal drugs as motive in the killing.
“Usa ni sa among mga angle nga gitan-aw karon kaning possible illegal drugs,” said Lozarita.
Lozarita said the victims may have been killed somewhere else but were only dumped in Barangay Pajo.
“Atong makita nga daghan agi sa dinunggaban ug gibilunalan ni sila og tubo,” said Lozarita.
Police confirmed that Rodrigo is in their watchlist of suspected drug personalities. — (FREEMAN)
