?18 million drugs seized in 3 days

CEBU, Philippines — Around ?18 million worth of illegal drugs were seized by policemen of the Police Regional Office (PRO)-7 during their Simultaneous Anti Criminality Law Enforcement Operation from July 5 to 7, 2024.

They also confiscated 2,625.31 grams of shabu and arrested 174 suspects.

In illegal gambling operations, policemen conducted 121 operations, arrested 213 people, and seized more than ?21,000 in bet money.

In loose firearms, they conducted 104 operations, arrested 12 people, and seized three explosives, while 101 weapons were either seized or surrendered.

Regarding wanted persons, 128 were arrested of which 11 were most wanted persons and 117 were regular wanted persons. (CEBU NEWS)
