CEBU, Philippines — A motorcycle driver died after his vehicle crashed into a Toyota Rush SUV at along the National Road in Barangay Yati, Liloan Town, Cebu, around 10:20 p.m. last Friday.
The deceased was identified as Gernard Escultor Pagodon, 48, married, of Mother Ignacia Village, Barangay Pulpogan, Consolacion Town, Cebu, while the SUV driver was identified as Marjo Vincent Dumaguit Dadula, 31, married, of Barangay Dunggoan Perrelos, Carcar City, Cebu.
Police said the motorcycle driver was driving southbound when he intruded into the other lane and hit the SUV travelling in the opposite direction.
Pagodon sustained injuries and was rushed to the Danao Hospital but didn’t make it there alive.
The family of the deceased and the SUV driver are still in the process of settling the incident. — (FREEMAN)
