CEBU, Philippines — A foundation is conducting a medical mission in the town of Liloan, Cebu next week.
The Eye, Hear Foundation will provide surgeries on residents of the town and nearby areas who are suffering from cataract and pterygium from April 22 (Monday) to April 24 (Wednesday).
To cover the cost of medicine and lenses, organizers said they are charging small fees of P2,000 for pterygium surgery and P3,500 for cataract operation.
Before the operations, a screening will be held on April 21 (Sunday) at the Pastoral Center of San Fernando Rey church in Barangay Poblacion. Checkup starts at 7 a.m.
Patients are advised to bring water to stay hydrated in hot weather.
