Drugs worth P14-M seized in Dauis, Bohol
CEBU, Philippines — Over P14 million worth of illegal drugs have been seized by the joint operatives of Philippine National Police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-7) during a buy-bust operation in Purok 5, Barangay Mayacabag, Dauis, Bohol Sunday afternoon, February 18.
The operation also resulted in the arrest of a high-value individual identified as Guardson Binarao, 32, single, and a resident of San Isidro, Tagbilaran City.
Police Lt. Thomas Zen Cheung led the operatives from Dauis Municipal Drug Enforcement Team (MDET), Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO), Regional Intelligence Department (RID-7), and PDEA-7 during the operation that resulted in the confiscation of 2.150 kilograms of shabu worth P14,620,000.
The suspect is now detained at Dauis Municipal Police Station while waiting for the filing
