CCPO seizes P4M drugs in two days
CEBU, Philippines — The Cebu City Police Office (CCPO)’s two-day Simultaneous Anti-criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) led to the seizure of P4 million worth of illegal drugs and the arrest of four high-value drug personalities.
This earned the operatives praise and gratitude from Police Col. Ireneo B. Dalogdog, CCPO chief, who announced the accomplishment in a press conference today, July 14.
Last Tuesday and Wednesday, CCPO did 39 anti-illegal drug operations and arrested 35-street level drug dealers and four high-value drug personalities. The police also confiscated 594.7 grams of shabu, which has an estimated value of P4.04 million.
CCPO likewise made 45 anti-illegal gambling operations, which resulted to the arrest of 75 persons and the seizure of P4,551 in gambling bets.
In the five operations against loose firearms, four persons yielded five guns. In the 228 manhunt operations, 20 were caught, including four in the most wanted list. — UV Intern/RHM
