PRO-7 assures quick action on complaints
CEBU, Philippines — The Police Regional Office-7 has assured the public that it would immediately act on complaints against its policemen following the launch of "Sumbong N'yo, Aksyon Agad" of the Philippine National Police.
PRO-7 director, Brigadier General Anthony Aberin, supported the program and said they are ready to respond to complaints anywhere in Central Visayas.
The spokesperson of Aberin, Police Lt. Col. Gerard Ace Pelare, said the police are open to all kinds of complaints from the community, especially against policemen who would break the law.
PRO-7 assured that it will take immediate action and it will not take long to address the complaint.
"I would like to take this opportunity to announce to the public that our lines are open for any complaints, for any reports of crime commission and rest assured that Police Regional Office-7 under the leadership of Police Brigadier General Anthony Aberin will act on your reports and do what is necessary to preserve the peace and security in Central Visayas" said Pelare.
Those who have complaints can send a message through the official Facebook page of the PRO-7 or go to the nearest police stations in the city or in the province.
Meanwhile, the Cebu City Police Office for its part said its "Isumbong Mo Kay CD" continues to act on complaints from the public. — (FREEMAN)
