CEBU, Philippines — Eighteen Customs Administration students of the University of Cebu-Lapu-Lapu Mandaue (UCLM) were rescued by the Lapu-Lapu City Rescue on Easter Sunday after the motor banca they were riding encountered a mechanical problem near Pangan-an Island.

Lapu-Lapu City City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office Head Nagiel Bañacia said no one was injured during the incident.

In his Facebook post, Bañacia said that the students were rescued at 9:40 p.m. on Sunday.
