Defending TCC

Dejos of TCC ranked third with 91.40% rating.
“Amidst all the political criticisms that the Talisay City College is supposedly underperforming and supposedly not doing well, here comes news that we have a LET topnotcher from the Talisay City College,” said Gullas.
Gullas extended his congratulations to Dejos for bringing “great pride to our city and the Talisay City College.”
Gullas also made mention of Marisse Lahaylahay Sabanal, a staff of their Emergency Operations Center (EOC) who is also another product of TCC and who passed the LET even with all the pressures with work versus Covid-19.
Gullas also extended his congratulations to Rovena Jane Abatayo, SK Chairman of barangay Jaclupan, for passing the LET, as well as the other Talisaynons who did well.
Ten of the 11 first-timers and 19 of the 24 repeaters from TCC passed the exam. Overall, TCC obtained a passing rate of 82.86 percent.
With this, Gullas congratulated TCC president Richel Bacaltos and other school officials for this achievement.
“You cannot put a good school down. Garbo sa Talisay and garbo sa Talisay City College,” he said.
“I'm truly proud of the achievements of our fellow Talisaynons because this only proves that we can transcend to greater heights by doing what we love while serving others as well. To everyone and to all Talisaynons who passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers, congratulations kay sa tanan kalisod nga inyong giagian, ni pay off na gyud inyong kahago ug sakrispisyo para makab-ot ang inyong mga pangandoy,” he added. – JMD (FREEMAN)
