CEBU, Philippines —  Presidential candidate Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso is expected to be in Carcar City tonight to join the culminating activity for the two-day Cebu Loop Bilis Kilos Caravan initiated by his supporter.

The caravan, which started yesterday and will end today, is being organized by the Visayas for Isko Sara Alliance, which is composed of various parallel groups.

The caravan started at Plaza Independencia in Cebu City at 6 a.m. yesterday and moved towards Cebu’s Fourth District composed of Bogo City, Bantayan, Daanbantayan, Madridejos, Medellin, San Remigio, Santa Fe, Tabogon and Tabuelan.

The caravan stopped over in Bogo City for lunch and then continued towards the west coast.

Along the way, supporters of Moreno and vice presidential candidate Sara Duterte gave away election collaterals such as shirts, ballers, pamphlets, among others, until supplies lasted.

Winley dela Fuente, VISA lead convenor, said that they conducted this caravan to expand their campaign and to convince the undecided to vote for the Isko and Sara.

Illy Abella, one of VISA convenors, said that they are letting the people know that they remain steadfast in the campaign for Isko despite his low rating against former Senator Bongbong Marcos and Vice President Leni Robredo in the presidential race.

“I hope ang atong katawhan inig butar nato dili kay kasing-kasing ra atong gamiton. Dapat atong gamiton atong utok, 3/4 utok ug 1/4 kasing-kasing kay unom ka tuig magdumala sa nasud ang usa ka presidente. Kung masayop ta og pagpili sa atong presidente, lisud kaayo tangtangon,” said dela Fuente, who strongly believes that Moreno is the best man to become the next president and Duterte as vice president.

The caravan will stop in Carcar City, where Moreno is expected to join the so-called ISKONCERT.

In that concert, Moreno will be joining his son, Joaquin, and other popular bands as well as senatorial candidates like Samira Gutoc, John Castriciones and Jopet Sison. — JMD (FREEMAN)
