CEBU, Philippines — A grand rally for the camp of Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte will be held at the Citi de Mare in the South Road Properties in Cebu City on April 18.
Organizers said the venue can accommodate up to 400,000.
“Yes, very star-studded. It’s a guarantee. Tuloy tuloy na talaga. The real stars are the Cebuano people who will be there that will eventually vote for Bongbong and Sara,” Joseph Lo, head of BBM Region 7 headquarters finance, said.
In line with this grand rally, Gilbert Remulla, the head of all parallel groups of the Uniteam, asked all parallel groups to coordinate with the BBM-Sara headquarters in Region 7 which is headed by Besty Manapsal so that they will be recognized and properly guided with their activities.
“Everyone is invited to come and join with us. Everyone will be recognized and everyone will be acknowledged for their efforts,” said Remulla in a press conference yesterday.
The conference was attended also by Romulo Manapsal Jr., Partido Federal ng Pilipinas Region 7 secretary general, and several leaders of the different parallel groups.
These different parallel groups of the Uniteam will be watching the quick count votes nationwide to help ensure every vote for BBM-Sara are counted.
“We all have a common goal -- let BBM to be the next president and for Sara to be the next vice president. We appreciate the hard work that the parallel groups in Region 7 have been doing as volunteers are for the future of our country,” said Remulla.
Remulla added that the Manapsal couple is doing a “wonderful job,” as well as the Cebu groups.
