Only vaccination card needed for Cebu visitors

CEBU, Philippines —  Fully vaccinated domestic travelers bound for Cebu Province are no longer required to present medical certificate.

The Capitol first dropped the negative RT-PCR test or antigen test requirement for passengers earlier of October.

With the recent memorandum issued by Governor Gwendolyn Garcia, the Capitol moved for the more eased requirement.

“Instead, fully vaccinated persons shall be required to present their vaccination cards or vaccination certificates as proof of vaccination,” read the memorandum dated O ctober 29, 2021.

Prizes await

Meanwhile in Balamban, fully vaccinated senior citizens are qualified to join the raffle that will be organized by the local government unit.

This is one way of the LGU to entice its senior citizens to get a jab against COVID-19.

“Fully vaccinated senior citizens sa Balamban adunay chance makadaug og 100K, 50k ug 30k pesos karong Desyembere 2021,” read the announcement of the LGU’s Facebook page, Alagad sa Balamban.

As of this writing, the LGU has not announced yet the mechanics of the raffle draw.

The Rural Health Unit personnel of Balamban will be the one to visit the senior citizens living in far flung areas of the town for the vaccination drive.
