A total of 187 beneficiaries received the financial assistance amounting to P757,900. The payout was held at the covered court of Barangay Buaya.

The representative said each beneficiary will have to comply with the needed requirements and submit them to her office.

Once requirements are complied with, the officer from DSWD will conduct the interview for every beneficiary for the final assessment.

Radaza said that every other two weeks, the DSWD will release the payouts for those who have complied with the requirements.

“Gusto nako nga paspas gyud ang serbisyo mao personal gyud ko ni hangyo nga every other two weeks ang releasing kay sayod ta nga lisod kaayo ang panahon karon,” she said.

Radaza added that since her term as congresswoman started in 2019, more than 2,000 beneficiaries have availed the program for the medical and burial assistance alone.

Earlier, a total of 141 Government Internship Program workers from the different barangays in the city also got their cash allowance for the cash for work program of the Department of Labor and Employment in coordination with Radaza’s office.
