CEBU, Philippines — A man who joined last Sunday’s marathon collapsed and did not make it alive to the hospital.
Jaime Caangay Luzon, 41, a resident of Kamagong, Lahug, Cebu City reportedly died at around 7:00 a.m. last September 29 at the Perpetual Succour Hospital, along Gorordo Avenue, Cebu City.
Luzon was one among the thousands of runners who joined in the Milo marathon last Sunday.
In the middle of the race, he reportedly collapsed and remained unconscious.
He was rushed to the Perpetual Succour Hospital, but was declared dead on arrival by an attending physician.
Based on the record of the Cebu City Police Station 4, Luzon’s corpse was brought to the St. Anne Funeral Homes. (FREEMAN)
