CEBU, Philippines - Three unidentified robbers carted away P30,000 from a sales agent whom they held at gunpoint past 1 p.m. Friday in Dawis Sur, Carmen town.
Rizaldee Gonzaga, 32, of Lawaan, Talisay City, who was supposed to deliver packs of cigarettes to a store lost P30,000 and his mobile phone worth P2,000 to unidentified robbers.
Initial police investigation revealed that Gonzaga was with his driver prior to the incident and parked the delivery van 10 meters away from the store.
The two then took some cigarette products to the store but were stopped by three unidentified persons who arrived on board a motorcycle.
One of the robbers pointed a .38 caliber revolver at Gonzaga and demanded him to give the proceeds of his sales, as well as his mobile phone.
After taking away the money and the phone, the robbers fled away riding the motorcycle.
The victim rushed to the police station for help and a hot pursuit against the suspects immediately took place. However, the robbers were nowhere to be found.
The police are still investigating the incident and are looking for possible witnesses to solve the crime.
