Sales reps robbed by two men on bike
CEBU, Philippines - Two sales representatives of a cigarette company were robbed by two armed men on board a motorcycle in Sitio Kabangkalan, Barangay Gairan, Bogo City, Friday afternoon.
Gary Bigno, 32, from Barangay Tisa, Cebu City and Reybombom Guinto, 29, from Barangay Luz, Cebu City, were delivering their products to a store in Bogo when the robbery took place.
Initial investigation showed that two unidentified men arrived in the area, declared a robbery and ordered the victims to give them the money they just collected.
Bigno and Guinto reported to the police that they turned over P25,000 to the suspects out of fear.
They were then ordered by the robbers to stay at the back of their van and not make a scene. The robbers then made their getaway on their motorcycle.
The victims described one of the suspects as standing about 5’2” tall and wearing blue sweatshirt, shorts and a bonnet.
He was reportedly armed with a .45 cal. pistol.
The second suspect was reported to be wearing a blue jacket, yellow helmet, cargo shorts and stood about 5’8” tall. He was armed with a revolver.
The police are still looking for the robbers. (FREEMAN)
