CEBU, Philippines - A 47-year-old father of nine was arrested by police for allegedly touching the private parts of his five children inside their home in Barangay Sambag Dos, Cebu City.
The father was arrested after his 21-year-old daughter reported to the police that for a number of years now, their dad has been molesting them, touching their private parts every time he gets drunk.
The Freeman is withholding the name of father and his children due to the sensitive nature of the incident.
According to the 21-year-old daughter, her father started molesting her at the age of 12 and she only mustered the courage to report the incident recently. Their father reportedly threatened them that he would kill her and her siblings if they would report to the police.
The man, who sells newspapers for a living, allegedly molested her and her 7-year-old sister, as well as their 9, 11 and 14-year-old brothers whom their father allegedly orders to masturbate in front of him.
The father denied the allegations and said he could not do such things to his own children.
The suspect admitted though that he forgets his actions every time he gets drunk.
One of the victims was brought to the Pink Room at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center for examination but results showed there were no signs of rape.
The victims are scheduled to undergo a psychological evaluation while authorities are preparing charges against the suspect. (FREEMAN)
