No low pressure, says PAGASA

Keziah AstilloATO - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - While heavy rain was experienced the other night, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration says Cebu will continue to have a fine weather.

The satellite of PAGASA has not detected any low pressure in the pacific regions and fair weather will still be expected by next week, said Alice Quijano, PAGASA Weather Specialist II.

Quijano said though  that Cebu will continue to experience localized rain showers and thunderstorms mostly during the evening because water evaporates faster during warm weather causing heavy cloud formations.

But in the morning, the hot weather will still be experienced and Quijano advised the public not to expose themselves to the sun to avoid skin problems and dehydration.

While outside, bringing of umbrellas and drinking lots of water are also advised.  (FREEMAN)
