CEBU, Philippines - Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama will be taking a short leave to watch the fight of Sarangani Representative and world boxing champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao on Sunday in Macau.

Rama said he will watch the game since nationalism is one of his advocacies  and also as his prior promise to Pacquiao.

“I have committed to Manny so muadto ko pero it is not about politics but rather my advocacy on nationalism,” Rama stressed.

Pacquiao will be battling it out with former lightweight champion Brandon Rios at the Venetian Resort in Macau for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) International welterweight championship.

Further, Rama said he will secure an authority to travel from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) today.

Rama will be leaving Cebu tomorrow and will be coming back on Monday next week.  (FREEMAN)
