Mövenpick donates 100% of proceeds to Yolanda victims

CEBU, Philippines - In light of the devastation wrought about by supertyphoon Yolanda last week, Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu is helping in the relief and rebuilding efforts.

 Mövenpick said it would donate 100 percent of all room revenues generated on the weekend when Yolanda hit (November 8-10), and 80 percent of all room revenues generated from sales from November 15 to 24, 2013.

“My heart goes out to my fellow Filipinos who are victims of the recent calamities,” said Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu owner Manny Osmeña.

“We have already reached out and sent relief to our kababayans in Bohol after the earthquake. With the recent Yolanda superstorm, my family and I are taking part in the rebuilding efforts for the affected communities. I want to give all our guests and patrons an opportunity to also contribute to this cause. We thank everyone who is helping us send aid to the Visayas.”

From November 15 to 24, R and R will take on a whole new meaning – Relief + Rebuild.  Reservations made on the above dates with booking code REBUILD can be used from November 15, 2013 through May 31, 2014.

Discounted rates are being offered for this campaign.
