CEBU, Philippines - In light of the devastation wrought about by supertyphoon Yolanda last week, Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu is helping in the relief and rebuilding efforts.
Mövenpick said it would donate 100 percent of all room revenues generated on the weekend when Yolanda hit (November 8-10), and 80 percent of all room revenues generated from sales from November 15 to 24, 2013.
“My heart goes out to my fellow Filipinos who are victims of the recent calamities,†said Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu owner Manny Osmeña.
“We have already reached out and sent relief to our kababayans in Bohol after the earthquake. With the recent Yolanda superstorm, my family and I are taking part in the rebuilding efforts for the affected communities.
