Chiong opened up that they came to express support to the projects and programs of the new administration under Davide.

“Salamat kaayo nga nasuroy mo sa Kapitolyo,” Davide said in response. (Thank you for visiting the Capitol.)

The mayors expressed various concerns in their respective municipalities that need the assistance of the Provincial Government.

Davide informed Guarin that he has visited already the Oslob District Hospital, prompting Creus to also invite the governor to visit the hospital in his town in Malabuyoc.

Singco asked if district hospitals can be provided with medical technologists, saying that patients need to undergo laboratory test first before the physician gives prescription otherwise the medicines bought would just be wasted.

Davide said he will call all the chiefs of hospitals to discuss the matter in preparation also with the budgeting for next year. He also told the mayors to also expect his courtesy call in their respective town soon.

Cesante invited Davide to attend the inauguration of the school building project of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) on July 16.

Davide assured that he will be governor of all after Creus asked how One Cebu mayors will be treated by his administration.

“Kung alang sa kaayuhan, we will help each other,” Davide said.

Chiong also asked what Davide plans for the controversial Balili property situated in Naga City.

But Davide told Chiong that he has no concrete plan yet as the property is still evidence of the criminal case against former governor, now third district Rep. Gwendolyn Garcia, pending before the Sandiganbayan.  (FREEMAN)
