LP holds youth congress in Tuburan

CEBU, Philippines - A thousand youth in the town of Tuburan joined the Liberal Party Youth Congress yesterday.

Kaye Ramayla, one of the organizers of the congress said that theevent was organized in order educate the youth about the upcoming polls.

Ramayla also said that the congress was organized to show their support for the administration’s local candidates as well as the national candidates.

Tuburan Mayor Democrito “Aljun” Diamante in his speech told the youth to vote wisely.

Ramayla added that they have invited local candidates including gubernatorial candidates Hilario Davide Jr. and vice gubernatorial candidate Acting Governor Agnes Magpale to grace the event but they failed to attend due to prior commitments.

Team PNoy senatorial candidates Cynthia Villar, Bam Aquino and Alan Peter Cayetano were also invited but they were still in some parts of the country campaigning.

The entire slate of Team PNoy including President Benigno Aquino III are expected to be in Cebu on February 19 and 20 for their campaign sorties.

Team PNoy senatorial candidates are slated to have their rally on the 19th in Talisay City and in the town of Liloan on the 20th. (FREEMAN)
