CEBU, Philippines - At least 10 houses were destroyed in a fire that broke out last night along Gorordo Avenue in Barangay Camputhaw, Cebu City.
In an interview over dySS, Cebu City Fire Marshall Chief Insp. William Tacaldo said that he raised the fire to general alarm after receiving the report around 7:32 p.m.
The Cebu City fire department was able to control the fire after 28 minutes.
Although the fire razed ten houses, Tacaldo said that there had been no casualty reported as of their initial investigation.
He said that there were no problems in putting out of the fire as at least eight fire trucks from different fire stations in the city helped control the blaze.
Tacaldo added that fire investigators are still determining the cause of the incident and are yet to come up with the cost of damaged properties. (FREEMAN)
