Francis Luke & Cathryn Civil Wedding

PEOPLE PLACES - Flor Ynclino - The Freeman

Francis Luke Ynclino and Cathryn Claire Uy finally ended their courtship after nine long years. Luke and Cat are both nurses and they met when they were working at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.

After five years at the VSMMC, Luke and Cat decided to join the call center and they handled the medical side of their job.

Thus, last September 13, Luke and Cat had agreed to get married by civil wedding since the two were working on their papers for abroad. And graciously accepting to officiate the civil wedding ceremony was the young and energetic Consolacion Mayor Joannes P. Alegado. Attending were Cat`s Mom, Mrs. Genelina Gines Uy and Luke`s Mom Mrs. Marichu Frias Ynclino. After the ceremony, the family and a few friends had lunch at the Bai Hotel.

At 6:00 in the evening, a beautiful dinner reception was held at Circa 1900. Godparents Fermin and Flor Ynclino who stood as sponsors for the couple were in happy attendance. While dinner was going on, Luke and Cat sliced a piece of the wedding cake, then a toast led by big brother Fred Mark Ynclino. A surprise for the young couple was a dance presentation by Cat`s team. After which Luke and Cat had a money dance where dollars were pinned at their outfits.

Before the affair came to a close, a video presentation had Luke`s Dad Fred Ynclino (from Los Angeles) who delivered a very sentimental message. All the guests were deeply touched. And before the guests could say goodnight, Yur perfumes and souvenirs were given to all.

To Luke and Cat, congratulations and best wishes. May the good Lord bless you both with good health, perseverance and love!
