Marco Polo Plaza Celebrates its 13th Anniversary

Marco Polo Plaza is officially a teenager! In celebration of their 13th anniversary, a party was held at the hotel’s Cebu Grand Ballroom last April 27 with the theme inspired from the movie “13 Going on 30.”

General manager Mr. Brian Connelly welcomed guests and partners and thanked for being part of Marco Polo Plaza’s 13 years of success. Guests were in for a treat as the hotel showcased its culinary delights with its themed coffee breaks: Chocolate Factory, Pa-init, Healthy Options, Street Food, and Fruit Mania. Cocktails and drinks were paired as the movie “13 Going on 30”played. Spa therapists from the hotel’s Wellness Zone also pampered guests to a facial and back massage and a nail bar was also set up care of Mira Beauty by Design.  Ninety hotel gift certificates were raffled off throughout the event.  Newly renovated Premiere rooms were also introduced and guests were invited to do a quick ocular.

The hotel management also organized a celebration for the property’s staff members with a beach outing including everyone from the culinary department, food & beverage, front office, housekeeping and the staff from the back office. Another event was also held to present honors to long serving staff members who have worked with the hotel for five years and more.
