September Birthday Celebrators and Celebrations

Fely Salimbangon, wife of real estate developer Cesar Salimbangon, marked a milestone last Saturday, the 18th of August, and hosted a dinner at the Pig & Palm resto no less. Her invited guests were mostly from MSY Club and were in perfect attendance. A surprise gift that Fely received was a beautifully-decorated cake with “mahjong characters” as decorations from Belinda Wong.

While the ladies were having a ball at a big room, the gentlemen (husbands of some ladies) also had fun with the finest wines offered by Carlos Yeung. The dinner party lasted until eleven in the evening.

Sam Costanilla`s birthday was last August 18. Far from what he had in his last birthday, this time around, Sam had an intimate lunch at the Jazz Chillin Music Lounge along Rahman Street hosted by the owners, Atty. Raul Padilla and his lovely wife Joanna Padilla. A very special guest of Sam was film director Carlo J. Caparas who is now half-based in Cebu as he is planning to revive the Visayan movies of yore. With a short time we had Dr. Warfe Engracia, with Sam Cost in the ivory keys, sampled to the other guests several songs with his baritone voice that reverberated throughout. Despite the heavy downpour, we had fun!
