I had IV infusion with some immune boosters a few days ago and developed swollen lips and ears. Will vitamins and minerals cause some allergic reactions? I was assured it was safe and commonly done.

Vitamin drips and IV (intravenous) infusions are getting more popular to cure hangovers and curtail flu symptoms. Most doctors get some lab exams to determine which vitamins you may actually be deficient in, so these can be corrected. The vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants and other active components are administered through a needle insertion directly into the vein for an hour or two. Many celebrities have made this popular.
However, the infusions are not approved by the FDA. There are multiple reactions reported especially after Kendall Jenner was hospitalized after a vitamin drip early this year. Apart from the dangers of intravenous insertions (bruising, swelling, infection etc.), chemicals that bypass the stomach run a more potent effect on the body. Allergies can come in fast and may even cause difficulty in breathing.
If there is nothing wrong with your body, no deficiencies, no immunity challenges, then I suggest you do not try any new IV infusions in the near future to avoid untoward reactions.

I am starting to get gray hair but I am allergic to hair dye. What options do I have to use on my hair? Will using henna be safer? Which brands of hair dye should I go for?

Hair dye allergy is permanent. The allergic component in hair dye is called PPD (paraphenylenediamine). Once you have this, it is usually wise to avoid hair dyes containing PPD for life. Henna and other organic dyes may also contain PPD.
There are brands in health stores (like Healthy Options) that may carry PPD-free hair dye. You can purchase on your own and bring to the salon on your next visit.
