This article is unique. Why? It rediscovers the connects and disconnects in this modern age, the links of feng shui and various religions.
A recent consultation by an Indian family raised an interesting point, not coincidence but synchronicity of fates and faiths. The owner of the mansion related how their driver just suddenly brought brown paint and painted her Virgin Mary in their grotto all brown without seeking permission. The next day the driver fell ill and failed to report to work until the time of consultation two weeks after. And, during the time interval, many of the house-helps fell ill too, one after the other.
Only when the owner had the Virgin Mary figure repainted back to natural image did the ones who got sick recovered, but not the driver. Hence, she summoned feng shui if only to take away any bad feng shui. From a feng shui perspective, the ill health episodes were traceable to the flying star maintenance feng shui long overdue for their mansion. For the illness, bad energies were now occupying the servants quarters part of the house, ergo, driver and maids got sick!
A simple transfer of feng shui cure to their quarters would remedy the problem. But the amazing coincidence - rather synchronicity - of it all was the desecration of the Virgin Mary icon by the driver. And probably he painted it brown on an unlucky feng shui day that could have triggered the malady affecting his and the house-helps health.
This is where feng shui converges over time with faith, affecting one's fate. Folk Catholic, Buddhist, Shinto, animism traditions are all imbued with faith in divine energy which conjuncts with feng shui life energy principles of yin and yang, good and bad or evil or ill health-causing. The bottom line lesson is that energy, whether material or physical, is always coupled with its divine or spiritual source.
So don't wonder why adept feng shui knowledge claim grace equal to chi or life energy, and that feng shui is God's secret, or rather obvious, software for men to discover and let the universe run on its own and humans do with their free will. But then again, only when a student is ready will the teacher appear! In the meantime - be ready.
