Senior citizens do not have feng shui discounts. Sad to note! But to compensate ahead of their complaints, here are salient tips so as to relieve their frustrations and anxiety after all Souls' Day in the Philippines:
* For restful sleep and comfort, sleep with headboard to the West, the best for aging gracefully!
* Never sleep to the North, unless it is your feng shui auspicious direction, lest you age financially worried and losing money.
* Best if your room location is in the afternoon sun section of the house.
* Also avoid North section of the house rooms.
* A ground floor room is best to avoid stairwell mishaps.
* If higher than ground level bedroom, nowadays it is best to have a mini elevator if possible or a ramp stairway going up preferably on a wheelchair with caregiver relative or hire if affordable.
* Clear your surroundings of any clutter!
* Have convenient ventilation for good wind circulation unless air-conditioned.
* Have ample fresh water supply for bath or drink. Avoid regular tap water to drink for its salt or chlorine content that can block chi flow and trigger high blood pressure as well as cardiac arrest or stroke in the long run.
* Eat moderately, more vegetables, less meat and less better. More fish and seafoods too.
* Never have a crucifix atop your bed like in a hospital.
* Never have the ceiling electrical servicing box entry to ceilings atop your bed like a coffin top.
* Never have your footboard or headboard towards the door entrance of both the room and comfort room.
* Never hire a nurse or caregiver that has a Chinese zodiac against your sign.
* Choose only compatible friends and companions like nurse or caregiver guided by feng shui.
* Never have octagons in the house especially rosary containers!
* Never have octagon clocks or drinking glasses, and plates or even tables and ashtrays.
* No lion or tiger, man-eating animal prints or symbols lest they take your life.
And beyond feng shui, always remember you are in the Holy Presence of your God, whoever you conceive God to Be! Count your blessings of and in life gratefully eternally.
Last and most important: remember that you are always loved dearly and prayed for daily by your loved ones. And do not forget to do the same for them too.
Cheers to aging gracefully with luck, good health, long life and true wealth and prosperity to the bones! Lucky aging gracefully, everyone!
