“The Way of Saint James” with Marly Camino

Yasunari Ramon Suarez Taguchi - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines – The officers of Marly Camino, a Madrid-based travel-and-tour firm, were in Cebu recently to present of their special “Camino de Santiago” tour packages.

The presentation was held at the Narra Function Room of the Cebu Country Club – on Monday, December 28 — where representatives of various travel agencies and invited guests were in attendance.

Established in Madrid in 2006 by mother and daughter Ligia Muci Ramos and Samantha Sacchi Muci, Marly Camino is one of few Madrid firms that specialize in “Camino de Santiago” tours for non-Spanish speaking individuals.

The offered tours are anchored around the “Camino de Santiago” or “Way of Saint James” pilgrimage route – an important European pilgrimage route that’s long been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marly Camino offers various tour packages covering guided/assisted, self-guided and tailored/private tour itinerary options.

From tour options dubbed as “lite” (tour options that only cover essential “Camino de Santiago” stops) to tours that come with retreat options, all Marly Camino tours adhere to the main touch points that have made “Camino de Santiago” an important pilgrimage route in Europe – transcending the pilgrimage route’s religious origins into a spiritual journey backdropped by the wonders of nature, and the beauty in the culture and history of the place.

More information about Marly Camino and the “Camino de Santiago” is available on www.marlycamino.com.
