The "Cebu" Brand Launch
CEBU, Philippines – The public is invited to the grand launch of the new "Cebu" brand, at the Ayala Center Cebu Activity Center on Friday, November 13, at 6 p.m.
The event features entertainment numbers and video presentation that define the essence of Cebu, its wealth of human and natural wonders, in the global market.
The conceptualization process of the new "Cebu" brand took more than five months. In May this year, the tourism committee of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), together with the Mega Cebu group invited a Singaporean branding expert to conduct a workshop on the branding framework. It was followed by the CCCI Tourism Forum in June 19, then series of interactive research-based meetings from August to November, where stakeholders and the public shared branding slogans and taglines.
But branding goes beyond slogans and taglines. The "Cebu" brand team was confronted with the overall challenge to craft the distinctive concept of Cebu and express it in simple yet meaningful symbolization. And the team was finally able to capture the essence of the "Cebu" brand.
Admission to the "Cebu" brand launch is free. Everyone is enjoined to be part of the celebration.
