Right within Cebu City there is a sanctuary for those who seek tranquility - 32 Sanson by Rockwell Land. Nestled over a sprawling 3.2 hectares and strategically located in Lahug, Cebu City, it is Rockwell Land's tribute to the laidback lifestyle of Cebu's dynamic people.
The project is a testament to Rockwell Land's dedication to provide quality living as it launched its Buri and Solihiya towers recently. Rockwell Land's Senior Vice President and Treasurer Mike Lopez and Business Development Vice President Davy Tan flew in to welcome Cebu's well-heeled set, friends from the media, and potential investors, along with Rockwell Land's Senior Brand Marketing Associate Eric Nubla and Assistant Vice President for Marketing Vienn Guzman.
Music by the Manila String Machine quartet created an overall leisurely atmosphere. The quartet is composed of players that are graduates from top music institutions. Covering classical to modern music, and specializing in a range of musical genres from rock and pop to jazz and contemporary, the group is regarded as one of the pioneering string quartets in the Philippines to play modern music. Also adding flair to the event was the Dedon furniture that punctuated the beautiful 32 Sanson garden.
The highlight of the evening was the menu prepared by celebrity chef Sandy Daza. Guests were treated to a Filipino feast that featured unusual dishes yet familiar flavors, inspired by Chef Sandy's observation that Rockwell Land likes to surprise their clients with their innovative design, yet still retain that homey feeling. Appetizers included feta and pesto dip, lumpiang sotanghon with flaked tinapa, seafood balls with chili sauce, and century egg salad. Main dishes included lechon wraps with coriander sauce, pancit langlang, Bicol Express, chicken dinakdakan, and steamed shrimps with taba ng talangka sauce.
To top it off, delectable desserts by Philippe Estienne of Tymad Bistro gave everyone something to talk about with his specialties, the kouign-amann, opéra cake, and mango cheesecake.
