Art and a Noble Cause
CEBU, Philippines – Artist Earl Tawny Hisoler conducted a basic watercolor and calligraphy workshop at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at The Terraces of the Ayala Center Cebu on Saturday, October 24.
The activity was part of the highlights of the launch of Coffee Bean’s “Give Flavorfully” holiday campaign in Cebu – a campaign that enjoins everyone to show generosity to those in need.
Close to 30 guests, members of the media and Cebu blogging community were present in the gathering, where the basic strokes and techniques with the paintbrush were discussed.
On the occasion, the 2016 edition of the cafe’s “The Giving Journal” was also launched. The annual planner doesn’t just allow individuals to plot and track everyday activities, but also provides inspiring tips and guides on how to be of help to others.
At the same time, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s new holiday blends were unveiled – the new Toffee Nut flavored and “Winter Dream Tea” blends, beverages that capture the spirit of Christmas in a cup.
The activities – the art workshop, the “Give Flavorfully” campaign and “The Giving Journal” – were all telling of the kind of 2015 holiday season at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. (YRST)
