CEBU, Philippines – There’s a new Micronutrient Powder (MNP) that’s good for babies aging six up to 24 months old. It contains 22 micronutrients and is now available in major drugstores. It’s called Vita Meena.
MNPs are added vitamins and minerals that can be given to the baby to increase his or her body resistance. Some of the micronutrients present in Vita Meena are Iron, Iodine, Vitamins A, B Complex, C, D, E and K, Calcium and many more.
Vita Meena is to be mixed in the baby’s food, without affecting taste. The contents of one sachet can be directly mixed with the baby’s food once daily. It is available in all major drugstores nationwide at a standard retail price of P3.00 per sachet. It is also available in boxes good for a month’s use.
